Long story short, the type (one single letter w) is in perspective on the grid, but I need to pull the lower left corner down to a straight line so the "corner" of the perspective doesn't look weird. The methods I've found through googling don't acheive what I need. Envelope Distort doesn't seem to work on objects in perspective (Type>Create Outlines is greyed out). Effect>Warp is too restrictive and just uses sliders to move the letter out of shape. There has to be a way to do this. Can someone help? I can provide the .ai file if needed.


Here was a mini raster version I made showing a rough draft of what I was going to do. Notice the left side of the W is nearly straight to align with the corner of the "building". My backup plan is to simply turn the W to align the way I want it to, but then it looks crappy IMO.




And here is where I am stuck in Illustrator. The left side of the W remaining diagonal throws off the entire image.
