  • Video - Turbo E30 M3 at Nurburgring

Many apologies if this has been posted before . . .

Being a turbo-oriented guy, this caught my attention. I'm sure 1 bar of boost and maybe a bit of E85 would make things interesting . . .

Yep, this video was posted before, but still impressive nonetheless.

You'll soon realize what your M3 will do! Good luck with it.

didn't say you're lying. Just don't like the whole "what the M3 is capable of" thing when most of the car isn't M3 anymore.
Just gives the wrong idea. M3 versus Porsche Carrera GT. You must have a laugh (not you Mpower 238, literally speaking)

and everybody who has been to the Ring will agree, track knowledge is EVERYTHING there. you can have 200bhp more and I will still disappere
on the horizon because I know the track and you not.

Well, that explains why it was going so quickly on 1 bar of boost. Interesting nonetheless.

Very true Uwe. I compared our lap to his and at the point the video cuts out near the end of Klostertal I was 8 seconds ahead of him in my little N/A 320is (S14B20 approx 210hp); you were about 5 seconds in head of me. S50 bi-turbo with all that power and he was slower? Weird. All the power in the world won't make you fast at the Ring. Neither that lap nor the car impresses me.

                            Jake

common now, the car was awesome, so much work went into it, it was fast and it looked great, don't bash him just because he was slower than you at the track, you said it yourself-track knowledge is everything at the RING !

Is this what the car looks like now?
