Car looks very good! The only thing I would do is correct your duct, they look rather silly mounted that way.
LOVE those wheels!!
I think you hit on everything! Once all is freshened, have her aligned and you should be set. My rear subframe bushings are making a little squeak so it's about that time... not something I think I...
so, I may have found an 02. going back out to have a second look and poke and prod on some crusty rusty. it seems solid in most of the 'concern' areas however the front nose has some rot just above...
Yea, I'll definitely try to attend some meets!!
thanks for the kind words guys :)
...oh yea, I alternate between S14 and the FAQ ;-)
sorry, should have been a little more detailed. MAXX A/N open loop with CF box.
oddly enough, I took the dogs for a walk/daughter for a bike ride came back and started up---idle was fine and a/f...
Hi all,
driving home tonight and noticed at idle my car was running rough; like race cams. so I plugged in my wbo2 and a/f was appx 10 to 1 at idle.. off idle the car feels fine.
shut it off...
A Tii will not fit into my budget. I'd love it over carb's, however not going to happen.
Thanks, I haven't been searching long (1 month) but most nicer cars are west coast and even with the shipping cost I'd still most likely make out better than buying one around NJ. I'm hoping someone...
I did not read that it has a bum title, did I miss something?
Sounds like you know what you are looking at.. If I were you and felt good about the car I would start negotiating at $14k (I'm basing this solely off the pictures provided and the notion that it...
atiwe hub; it mates up to my ACS and the formel
Thanks guys.. Currently on the hunt for a decent roundie 02 'driver'---meaning nothing too fancy, patina preferred. If you hear of anything, let me know.
Well, it's been 4 long years... About 6 thousand miles, 10 track days, and lots of happy motoring.
When I first purchased the car it was relatively stock; Iigo chip, Bilstein sport's and a...
I've never heard of it happening unless said car was ill-maintained.
Uhh, I beg to differ. However if you think so, thats fine. Even during my very first DE I was driving the car far 'harder' than I had ever on the street. Unless the DE rungroup you were in was a...
...oh, MAXX automotive from Germany.
If your car doesn't see any HPDE or autocross time then I wouldn't waste your money.
I would venture to guess most cars on this board will fall in between 2 & 3 'ranking' however would sell around $20-$24k these days. I'm pretty confident some if not most may even see occasional...
was there supposed to be a link or are we supposed to search Ebay ourselves? :)
weird, mine doesn't say brake fluid just brake.
that kind of makes sense now, it must be the sensor at the fluid resovoir/or possibly the connection at the cap.
thanks!!
hmm, i'll triple check the fluid level but the handbrake has its own light.
Hello, all.. trying to get an idea of what may cause this one to flicker intermittently. It is NOT the hand brake, brake lining, ABS, or overhead check panel. It's directly next to 'brake lining.'...
I agree as well, the track is about a 45 minute drive for me and it's mutch easier to just bolt up the wheels the evening before and not have to fuss once you arrive.
add on: changeover below:
3/86-12/87 AI
1/88-12/90 AII
I believe the above is incorrect. The 88 was Alpine I (code 146) and the 89's and later were Alpine II (code 218).
great picture^^!! love the reflection of the Porsche in the side of your car!

Nope, all that was in the express pack was my shift knob.
Oh, are you referring to that tubing you were 'supposedly' sending with the knob?
Not dumb at all.. I was just wondering if that part (the insert) can be purchased? I poked around, but no luck finding it..
A few months back I picked up a Schnitzer leather knob and it did not come with any insert to insure a snug fit on the shift rod. The OEM knob has a black plastic 'liner.'
I tried to swap it over...
That's a dear price for such high miles! IMO
