If you plan on doing weekend driving events with this car, I highly recommend you do vertical and horizontal oil pan baffles. Also make sure you overfill the oil by about 3/4 of a quart. An oil...
Very exciting Rich! You better keep the pictures coming and post up videos soon!
Awesome project Brendan! Keep the updates coming.
I only get a couple chances a month to work on the car so there has not been much progress. ECU wiring is currently in progress.
Currently developing an instrumentation system....
Here are some pics of the actual E28 M5 oil cooler. This makes a great upgrade for E30 M3's that are driven hard.

I had many of these same questions when reading about the 13.5 to 15 AFR issue. More info needed here.
Thanks! There is certainly a good amount of fabrication involved. These types of builds are for those who love to tinker since it is not the type in which you "set and forget."
For many reasons, I would personally never build a budget turbo system to run only 3psi. However, here are some ideas for tweaking your factory tune.
Step 1: Wideband AFR
Either of the...

Taking offers!
Thanks Rich! No heat wrap or ceramic coating. I am going to run it as is. However, I do need to wrap the shock tower and inner fender with reflective tape on the exhaust side.
Here is another. :)
Second wastegate flange got welded on today and I also blasted the manifold. Lots of hours into this piece and I am glad it is finally done. Now I am anxious to see how it...
That car looks very familiar. I think the owner used to live in Saratoga. I am looking forward to seeing the progress. Be sure to post lots of pictures!
This thread needs pictures!
I saw this the other day. I'm not going to lie, integrating such a system on the S14 crossed my mind after watching it. I would really like to see this technology integrated on future production cars.
Lots of $$$ into this build! Must be a hoot to drive!
This cage is top-notch! Very impressive.

Long time no update!
I am 95% done with the exhaust manifold. I will post more pics later after it is cleaned up and ready for install.
-TIG welded and fully back purged
-1.5" Schedule 10 304-SS...
I finally got around to doing some work on the manifold.
Opened up the exhaust flanges to 39.5mm from 35mm while maintaining a smooth transition....
That is just ridiculous.
Bump!
Thanks Rich! I have not looked into traction control with the MS yet.
Update time! Its been over a month since I have worked on the build.
Planning on installing the drivetrain this weekend....

Because extremely busy with many other priorities! I have to put the project on hold for the next week or so. Promise to get back on it soon though.
Well, time to sell my turbo stuff!
Seriously though, nice find. I wonder if there are videos of it running :D
Thanks Hugo. Your car is freakin' gorgeous!!! Lovin the flat caps on the RS'
I decided to go with an OEM Behr S54 Z3 radiator since it is reliable, inexpensive, and has 3-cores. Any decent full aluminum S14 specific radiator was going to cost over $800 and simply wasn't going...
I used to have a set of brand new Depo smileys. I tend to do late night mountain runs on the weekends and I found the Depo lights to have extremely poor light output (Even with 4300k HID's). From my...
Bump! Still available!

I don't have any new PM's in my inbox and it is not full. Can you please try again?
