Car is sold!
My S4 has K04 turbos, fueling, 450+/- hp... and makes a great daily driver, and I can eek out 20mpg if I'm careful ;-) I've tracked it a bit, but it is a heavy beast and is hard on tires and...
I'm not looking to make payments, so that Turbo is out. I don't know if you've every driven an early 911 with a 3.6 engine... definately a worthy 911 Turbo alternative if you need that kind of speed.
I just like to discuss - I will do what I want ultimately :-) Not looking to spend a fortune, just looking for a decent street/track car that will be relatively reliable, fast, and fun. I went the...
What should I buy to complement my 2000 Audi S4 daily driver? These are the cars I am currently considering now that I am selling my E30 M3. E36 M3, Porsche 964 Carrera 2 or Porsche 964 Carrera 4. ...

I'll take some engine pics tonight and post them here now that I know how :)
What pics would you like to see other than those I posted above?
Here's some pics... (I'm new to linking photos, so hopefully it works)

It is still available, sorry for the late reply. Check your email :)
Also - car has Turner oil pan baffle - I had it installed when the lower end bearings and rod bolts were done a couple of months ago.

Asking $12,500. Bone stock except for new Nakamichi CD400, Iigo & Turner chips.
Specs: 1989 E30 M3, Zinno Red, black leather, 125K miles. Power windows, sunroof, power locks, AC, on board...
Hmmm, chevy stuff in my BMW - I have my doubts :) I'll consider it though, so I appreciate the advise. I'll probably try the Redline and see what that does, then if it's no better, put in the...
Flushed = drain and refill. The shop, Eastside Bavarian, is a well respected BMW shop in the Seattle area. I doubt they would f-up something so simple, but ya never know. The noise did occur after...
Invoice said 3(units) I was assuming quarts.
It was last flushed in June, and the fluid that came out today was BLACK, with a slight metalic sheen. :-/ Even with the new fluid put in today, it still wines. Very frustrating! They put in...
Well, I just found out my rear diff is going bad. Metal shavings in the oil, burnt oil, etc... The funny thing, I just had the fluid flushed in June and all signs were good(per the shop). After...
I think that is gross vehicle weight, with passengers & cargo.
I usually shift at about 7500 at the track between 2nd and 3rd gears, and a little lower rpm between the higher gears (I don't know why, I just do :)). I usually keep it below 7000 on the street.

Mine is 2820 lbs, bone stock, full tank of fuel, spare, jack, and took kit in.
Front/rear distribution is 52.6/47.4 with me in the car, seat all the way back (I'm tall) :)
The above is...
If you go to tirerack.com, search for wheels for a 1992 BMW 318is, scroll to SSR, and the 15 x 7 SSR Comps should be there.
My wheels and tires came in, and they look nice! Better yet, they are...
H&R Race springs? How do you like them for Seattle area driving?
Based on my research, this is the setup I am currently prepared to purchase and have installed on my otherwise stock 89 M3. Given that it is a shared daily driver as well as my current track toy...
Cool, great to know I'm in line with where I should be!

Ok, just re-dyno'd my M3 at another shop, Iigo chip only this time. 163.8whp at 7250rpm, and 148.1 ft lbs at 4750. About right for a well used stock 120K mile S14. I was hoping for another 10-15...
OK then, when can I get one? :)
Luis,
I am 100% satisfied with the Iigo chip! After all, this is currently my daily driver, and I find the the Iigo is much better suited to real world use with premium pump fuel. The car starts...
Ok, I just dyno'd the car with the Iigo chip then the Turner chip. Results were pretty damn close between the two. I would post the dyno sheets, but the dyno numbers are whack. 215-220 wheel hp and...
Looks to me like the slow way thru a corner if you ask me. Entertaining though!
Yes, Exalto PE2, sorry for that  They seemed to get good reviews on tire rack review site, and they were relatively inexpensive. Not the cheapest performance tires in that size by far,...
Whew - I thought I missed the boat on 15" SSR's with proper E30 M3 offset. I got some used 15mm spacers with lugs, way cheaper than new, from a s14.net member. I just pray that 15mm will work and I...
I'm pretty sure you can still get one. I got mine after the big flurry of activity, and it was no problem at all.
Um, gas as it comes from the pump is a carcinogen AFAIK, and it's tough to stay away from it :) While I've never poured Toluene into my car as I am unsure as to whether it may harm my car, I don't...
FWIW, mine comes on and I have usually about 30-40 miles before the computer says 0 miles to empty. I then fill up, and usually put in 13-13.5 gallons.
