It can be worth checking the 12 volt supply wire to the coil with a test bulb as opposed
to a multimeter. I've had two e30's in the past that were measuring 12 volts at the coil
but didn't have...
Is there any fuel being injected into the engine? (smell of fuel from exhaust, wet plugs)
Drop the oil pump to remove the upper sump. Get a Tipex pen and put a dot on the outer

number on the front...
I may be missing something, but, from your picture above it looks like the only sensor hole
missing is the one for the diagnostic rpm sensor. If this is the case, deleting this sensor will

I've retubed a few M3 struts but the distance between us probably makes it economically unviable.
Does the car have an aftermarket alarm with immobilizer fitted?

Wondering if anybody would be willing to share some wisdom on rebuilding limited slip differentials?
I've a good local supplier for the friction disc's and lugged washers but I'm

Unless rust on the shell is found to be excessive I wouldn't be in to much of a hurry to acid dip the shell.

hey, hey, less of that sort of thing, she was fine when I got out. :)
Absolutely blown away by the performance of the car.
The engine, the sequential gearbox and the flat shift gear changes,...
If the viscous fan locks in fully like it's supposed to when things get hot then
