Some pictures from the Silverstone trackday.
You could buy passenger laps in an Ex-DTM M3 or the new M5.

Pictures are random, I have just uploaded all the pictures taken today.

    ENJOY HERE

    Nice.

    How was the ride?

Are those your pics? or Uwe`s? I like to see some in Hi-Res.

looks like one of these Gruppe N struts to me. But can be wrong here.

The ride was quite good. Unfortunately the engine wasn't run in and could only see 7000rpm. But it sounded like 10.000 :D

Grip was amazing even the car wasn't pushed to the limit. The was no roll ro weight transfer. (as far as one can tell from the passenger seat)

The heat in the car in the DTM days must haven been incredible,
I could feel the exhaust on my left foot all the time.

If you want a picture in higher res left me know. I will email it.
But only 1280x1024. I don't take bigger pictures.

Goodbye M3, you served me well.

Martin (M3Pilot) posted some pics of this car before..

Can somebody tell some about the history of this car?

Edit: First pic won`t work. This one is from Martin`s gallery.

I think that's one of the Kumho Tire Championship cars, and not one of the DTM present that day. All the genuine DTM cars were running center lock wheels. The couple of Kumho cars there where on 5 lug stuff.
This space is a sanctimonious shit-free zone.
