Had one on my former Alpineweiss car. It was a nice light piece. I purchased the fiberglass one. The one complaint was that it need additional work to get it perfect. Pinholes needed to be filled and other imperfections fixed prior to paint to be perfect. The shop charged some additional money to get it right. Otherwise, it held up nicely.
Another friend, Tony R. has one of the original ones made (it had fitment issues - but long ago fixed by Mike at Ma Shaw in the mold) and it has held up well too.
Note - both cars were garage kept and not exposed to the weather.

sorry guys...i am digging wayyy back but how do i get in touch with bob to buy his undertray andE3 front splitter??? is he still doing this, thanks
has anyone been able to contact Mashaw to buy a wing? I get no replies...
I sent an email over the weekend. I suspect it will take a phone call to get anything done.
My impression with the wing is that it is best to contact well in advance as I imagine there is a fair bit of lead up time before the wing is actually produced.

Here's his parts thread:

And one with the splitters specifically:

Got mine around Xmas. Very nice, and the carbon flap is cleared and ready,I just need to paint the wing itself.
Call mike in the am (Cali time) and stay after him...he has someone make these for him and that gentleman gets in no hurry...I waited over 2 month for mine but well worth it.price is now $650 plus ship..and it was very well packed!
I bought some E30 M3 specific parts (including lexan front windshield) from Mike back in 2003 I think... I like him, he's a quirky guy but certainly a genuine straight shooter / overall nice guy. When the time comes I'd like to pick up the next round of parts from him..

I went to Mike's house last Saturday and picked up one of his wings. I am very pleased with the finish and will try a test fit this weekend before I send it to our painter. If I had a Schwartz car I could have bolted it on and called it good the finish was so nice. Quite of bit lighter than the stock tail also.
Cheers,
Jim
