If you remove the A/C...my unit is old, needs to be converted and recharged...you lose about 40lbs from the car, but what about when the car fogs up??? What do you do? open the windows? let the rain in? wipe it with a towel?

    Just curious

Usually turning on the heat through the top-level vents can cure the fogging problem.

That works for me. Although, I've had the windows fog up on a hot, rainy & humid summer day. That sucked.

It also helps if you keep the glass very clean. At least then if it fogs up it's uniform and you don't get streaks.

correct me if I'm wrong..but is it the fan blower that works for the windshield defogger? you can take the a/c unit off without compromising any air coming from the vents. some cars did'nt come with a/c. I don't see a problem. then I might be wrong. just my 2bits.

I removed my ac because it didnt work, even if your heater is broken you can still get hot air by opening the vents, it will channel air from the engine bay. In heavy rain I have to crack the windows too, dont forget to bring a towel.

You made me laugh a lot...

I usually open the windows a little and put the blower to the windshield. It sucks to drive with lack of visibility, I hate it.

it fogs up on the hot humid rainy days, when you can't open the windows. nothing you can do to stop it without the a/c to remove the moisture. cracking the sunroof vent and keeping the inside glass very clean can help slow the fogging effect though
