I checked the VIN# and all I can say is it is not a US M3.
Body paint(Macau Blu)/VIN#/Interior (silver grey cloth) combo seems to be EVO II to me. Don't be worried about the valve cover, drive it and the difference between 190 somthing HP and 220 HP will tell you.
Hi guys, it,s a real Evo 2. Found the build sheet under the rear seat. Looks like someone has removed the valve cover and plenum to put them on a race car. Many things are changed on these cars over the years IE the steering wheel. I have purchased this car and am working on bringing it back to its original beauty with the original parts that were removed. I have driven a lot of sports cars and I can tell you this is one of the most enjoyable. I also have a fully race prepared E30 M3 but the Evo 2 on the street is awsome.
Well nice to see you. My best friend has another Evo 2 at his shop in Toronto, JD Auto. His car is a full race preped orange Jagermeister version. His car was macao blau however was re painted. His car was built on the same day as mine and is several #s away from mine. They are euro spec cars. Thats 3 in Toronto
I guess there will be 4 next year when 13blackknight ships his over.![]()

let's hope is all done by then, but for now my other e30 m will get used.
The macau Evo2 I had looked at it when the previous owner Bill had it. Mobile tradition in Germany did confirm is was an evo 2, it has many things changed, steering wheel, the motor i thought was missing the cover and intake which was what the PO told me he never had the car with it....but the block number is for a newer 90 and up euro model his would be the 215hp and not an evo block. I was able to source the individual the shipped it over for Bill and he confirmed the evo motor was in the car and may have blown up and the PO just put another motor in. The reason I know all this is i have a very close friend that wanted a EVO2 so we wanted to make sure it was ligit.
Just dougle check everything i could be wrong just telling you what i was told in the end it's still a fantastic car.
