Hey Ryan, do you by any chance have closup pics of the M stripes on your trunk. I am thinking of doing something similar but I wanna see more photos.
hey whats the front of the june '87 mag look like in case i run across one. /thanks
There was a good sized image of that vehicle in the ad somewhere. I just need to find it again.

Sorry, it is a Best American GT feature Camaro vs Mustang vs Firebird :(
I actually got a few more include
- Car & Driver, Nov 87 Special Import Issue: Porsche 959, Toyota Celica Turbo, BMW M3, Mazda 929
- Road & Track, Feb 88: BMW M3 and 325is
- Road & Track Nov 90: Mercedes 190E2.5-16 Evo II (the one we hate
- Car & Driver Jan 87: small article: The M-Cars Are Coming (M3, M5, & M6). It stated we expect 1000 M3s, 500 M5s and 1000 M6s will be in US (but I guess BMW bump up the number for M3
- Car & Driver Jul 88: Fast, Fast BMW : Dinan M5 (not quite related but close brother right?)

That's awesome!

Love that ad...
Love the text in the ad even more...
-In reference to 192bhp-
"Naturally, the M3's chassis has been redesigned to accomidate such prodigious power..."
"Of course the M3 doesn't come cheap..." (I'd like to see BMW USA put that in an ad today!)

Dump question: Can anyone confirm the fact that 4 years of production sold out in the first year?
$32.5K then probably equivalent of $70K now.
