    This is what my 1st impression ad that I still remember until today. A copy of Car & Driver June 1987!!! What's a joy.

    Hey Ryan, do you by any chance have closup pics of the M stripes on your trunk. I am thinking of doing something similar but I wanna see more photos.

    I actually got a few more include
    - Car & Driver, Nov 87 Special Import Issue: Porsche 959, Toyota Celica Turbo, BMW M3, Mazda 929
    - Road & Track, Feb 88: BMW M3 and 325is
    - Road & Track Nov 90: Mercedes 190E2.5-16 Evo II (the one we hate
    - Car & Driver Jan 87: small article: The M-Cars Are Coming (M3, M5, & M6). It stated we expect 1000 M3s, 500 M5s and 1000 M6s will be in US (but I guess BMW bump up the number for M3
    - Car & Driver Jul 88: Fast, Fast BMW : Dinan M5 (not quite related but close brother right?)

    "Of course the M3 doesn't come cheap..." (I'd like to see BMW USA put that in an ad today!)

    Dump question: Can anyone confirm the fact that 4 years of production sold out in the first year?
    $32.5K then probably equivalent of $70K now.

    Definitely not.
    There were M3's sitting unsold on dealer lots well into 1992.

    Hmm, I heard that fact on one of Youtube ad IIRC. I wish I have money back then (was a student in college so I can only dream of it)
