I would like to replace the OBC with a WB02 gauge. I would like to remove the associated wiring as well. Any issues that I need to be aware of ? Thanks

As far as I know, it's as simple as remove obc, install gauge.

I just got done gutting mine and to my surprise, this is not a popular thing. Anyway, you take out 2 harnesses, 1 in the dash that connects the cluster and display, the other goes through the firewall to a horn and the temp sensor. In order to start the car back up, there is a connector with 2 green wires, jumper these together and you should be back in business. One of the green wires is switched power, the other powers the main relay, fuel pump relay and DME. I believe this is for the CODE feature of the OBC to work.

My tach quit working when I did this. Did you have to cut the harness or does it plug into the harness. Thanks

I did not cut any harnesses or plugs. I think there are 3 plugs left in the cluster, a gray, white and blue. there is a green connector on the back of the cluster below the tach that you can take out.

Just want to make sure that if i wanted to ONLY take out the obc next to the radio and put in a gauge, i won't have to jumper any wires behind the cluster right?

    thanks
