Pictures of the installation, does it have an internal oil system or use the one on the engine, where do you mount the intercooler, are you supplying a chip or will an aftermarket ECU be required, what do you use for controlling fuel, etc.....
    Several E30 M3's.

More than I need but not as many as I want....

Looks like a vortech head unit, which one? Also, can you supply the crank pulley with a reluctor wheel (for crank sensor)?

It get a circulating supply of oil. Oil is delivered to the Oil Injector that sprays the internal gears. Oil is then returned to the block. This system has proven to be super reliable. 200k plus miles on a Vortech blower is not unheard of.

Setup with the air to liquid cooler ? The cooler mounts under the plenum, It is a weld on unit. The plenum can be restored back to it's original state down the road but it require welding, rework and refinishing. The alternative is to build a stand alone cooler in place of the plenum at an added cost of about 1500.00... Just an option.

We will supply a chip and larger injectors to control the fuel. Ignition tables are
re-calibrated. Also this system runs a Mass Air Flow Sensor, with air temp sensor for ambient temperature compensation. See pictures... If the job is done here, it includes a free dyno chip-tune..

Crank speed and piston position are calculated at the flywheel, not sure why you want to do this up front. The head unit is a Vortech V2 SQ

Some of us will be using a standalone ECU such as Megasquirt which has a MAP sensor and allows us to tune timing and fuel. The MS unit also needs a crank sensor input such as a 36-1 wheel. If I were going to do any FI, I would certainly get a better ECU than the stock one.

The kit is available now. There will be step by step instrucions. We have an interested party. If he decides to bring the car down we will document and record all the steps. We will also have video of the finishe product along with pictures for the instructions. Hope this helps!

Because it requires that the head gasket be replaced, it will take anywhere from 2 to 3 day with out installing the cooler.

    rms tuning is bar none

"Unlike the latter day E36 and E46 M3's, the
original E30 M3’s main purpose in life was to
win races on the track, not the street. It
    got the job done."
