    Hello everybody
I am planning to install an E30 M3 5 lug setup on my 1989 325 convertible.
Currently, H&R sport springs (for E30 325 convertible) is installed on the car. I purchased an E30 M3 5 lug setup that I am going to install on the car.
Can I use the same sport springs or I have to buy an e30 M3 version of H&R sport springs? I know H&R sport springs are different between the two car but I don't know why and how diffrenet.
I also want to know if there is anything special I need to watch out for in this 5 lug install or it is pretty straight forward?
Thanking you in advance for your help.

Just use the 325i H&R springs. It's not a problem. You might want to use the M3 front swaybar links which will give more leverage, making the bar more effective.

What he said, just make sure that you get some decent shocks to go with those springs. Usually people choose either Bilstein or Konis. On a similar note, you may want to do a little research on camber adjustment and reinforcement areas too...

    Thanks guys.
I already have Bill sports and H&R sways installed that will carry over. I also renforced the sway bars mounting points with Turner motorsports weld-in tabs and trunk mounts.

I think I will need to check some more for campber and caster adjustments because somebody in BayE30.net told me that I would need camber plates.

You may not need a whole lot of camber adjustment with the Bilstein/H&R Sport setup. What I've seen of this combo doesn't seem to lower it a whole lot from the stock height 'cause of the Billies. I'm running the same setup w/ Konis & there's considerably more drop. As such, I've installed crash mounts in the front and the Ireland Kit in the rear to get the camber back to stock.... The other thing to consider is getting the adjustable sway bar end links to set those up properly with the drop....
