BMW Car Magazine January 2010 Issue

Anyone get the January Issue? There was a write-up on E30 M3 Evolutions (which I wanted), and for the life of me Barnes & Noble hasn't had any BMW Car magazines on their shelves for over a month! I'm wondering what's going on with that?

Who else carries this magazine?

Hey John,

I've been looking for this issue at B&N without finding it either. The article features two beautiful cars, an Evo II and a Sport Evo, that have the AN conversion by tuner Paul Shepherd which uses the Rongineer M3 Airbox. Paul's getting terrific performance improvements with his system.

FYI, there's also an article about these cars in the January issue of the UK BMW Car Club magazine called Straight Six. It's even more informative, but approval is still pending...will release when received.

I don't know if its the UK or the US distributor, but there's always a long gap after the Xmas break for all my UK magazines arriving at the news stand. I can confirm that BMW Car is out, though - it's been on the stands since January 22 here in Chicago. You should ask at the counter at B&N or Borders - I stopped buying my magazines there because they're so lax about shelving the latest issues. It's not unusual for my local Borders to be a month behind (they've got two issues of Evo on the shelves now, in fact).

I may just have to subscribe to this magazine....alot of great articles, especially on the E30 M3. B&N here in PA is still out...they didn't even get the January issue in last month...it will be interesting to see what is on the stand this month! :-)

Yea!!! I got the January 2010 issue at Barnes & Noble today...FINALLY! The January issue was just put out either yesterday or today, as it wasn't out on Monday (2/1) when I last checked! Great article on the Evo II and SE!

i used the site , and got this and the m3 special edition magazine... they gave good ideas for the future... i may get in touch with ron by the end of the year...

Hey Guys,

With approval I posted the article in Straight Six, the UK BMW Car Club magazine. That article was written by Richard Baxter and is more to the point of the benefits of replacing the AFM.
