Getting the stereo buttoned back up. Head unit in and working all RCAs and speaker wires run, speakers installed and floorboard made for trunk sub mounting. Need to work on a nice mount for the amp and get the power wired up (waiting for Crutchfield to send me the corrrect amp) so I can test out and tune the sound then just waiting for the leather to put the interior back together.

If you look back through my thread I ordered a leather wrapped center console, arm rests and map pockets from Alexander Lenz out of Germany. My seats are in really good condition and needed no attention other than some cleaning but I wanted a bit more spice in my interior. Eventually I will probably do the entire door panel and rear pieces to match.

    Parts to be put in....

You might get a bit more bass but I am not cutting anything on this car so it isnt an option also I dont have a fold down armrest. Bass is non directional and low frequencies pass through solid objects so it will sound good. Hopefully. What you are seeing on the sub face is a passive radiator and the sub fires out the other side and into the corner.

Worked all Saturday on getting my amp mounted in the trunk. Wanted to get it installed with no mods to the car and managed to pull it off without putting so much as a single screw into any part of the car. Amp rack is pressure fit on top of the jack cover quite securely and when closed the trunk hinge holds it in place in case it tries to move. Also got the Infinity Basslink mounted and hooked up stereo is sounding pretty good even wthout any tuning as of yet.

    Mocking it up with cardboard

    Test fitting the parts

    Putting it together

For a change instead of looking at it or working on it...I drove it to work on a 69 degree day in Chicago

Ah ok, I am still fiddling with aiming the lights so I will take a closer look at it next time I am in the garage.
