Waiting for the combo deal will definitely save on shipping costs for both parts vs. shipping them separately. However, the splitters may take up to another 2 months before they're available. The lips were much easier to confirm a date on, because a good mold was made. We've tried thermoplastic splitters, as well as 2 different types of fiberglass, but Chris Castro has zero time to devote to the splitters right now.

As I've told other members, when the splitters are ready, I will offer the lips to those ONLY in this first round group buy, at the $120 price + whatever the group buy cost ends up being on the lips. We WILL NOT offer the $120 pricing to anyone buying a combo deal later, unless we get a minimum of 20 people.

The $120 pricing for this 1st round group buy is a favor to all those that have waited and been patient, as I have only truly confirmed with 8 members so far.

The group buy closes tonight, tomorrow I will collect payment from everyone and place our order. If it's only 10 lips, then they should take about a week to be made, so they should HOPEFULLY be ready to ship out by the following weekend.

The group buy for splitters wont be for at least another 1-2 months. Those that confirmed with me for the combo deal, and stayed in contact, will get the $120 pricing on the lip when splitters are ready. To those that put their names on, but never followed up, I can't help you out. This was a good learning experience, and I will be better prepared for the splitter group buy, as well as other when the time comes.

I sincerely apologize to everyone for all the delays and fluctuation of information & pricing. I let the process go on for way too long, the next group buy will be for a month at the longest.

Based on the 8 or 9 confirmed buyers and the time invested in this process, this was more of an effort to help the community. After all is said and done, Chris Castro and I will have made zero profit for the time invested in this (especially on my end). In the splitter group buy, there probably WONT BE much of a price break form the $150 retail price on the lips for anyone wanting a combo deal later that DID NOT remain in contact with me. I made enough of an effort to contact everyone on the list at least twice, so I only feel it's fair to those that were communicative throughout the process.

Hi there,

For some reason many of the email I had received from certain members went to my spam folder first. I just went through a bunch and I apologize for the inconvenience. As stated, we will extend the special lip pricing ONLY to those that have been in contact with me and are waiting to order the splitter + evo2 lip combo WHEN THE SPLITTER GROUP BUY WILL BE READY.

I will also extend that pricing to the Australian members in need of shipping help per your PM.

We realize everyone leads busy lives, and many people don't check this forum that often, but things need to move quicker. We will be doing future rounds of this group buy later, when the splitters are ready. However, we will be limiting the time that each group buy is open for to 3 weeks, and the number of lips in the next round to 10. The pricing for future group buys will be fixed at $135 per lip, including hardware.

I would like to get one of your lip/splitter kits over to Australia for myself, and have a capable shipper based in California that I use frequently. I am prepared to assist others in Australia by getting a number of these freighted over to Victoria, Australia at the same time, in the interest of reducing my own freight cost.

For those that are in other states, road freight from Victoria should be simple and cheap to handle. If any Australian member would be interested in this idea, could you please advise so that we can work something out with Chris and the freight company.

Chris, would you be able to provide me with approximate dimension and weight for a fully packed lip/splitter, so that I can get an estimate from my shipper.
