Carlos - anytime you're around - If I'm not here just take the car out, it's all good.

I'm going to try and get it smogged tomorrow, it runs really really well and it's got a modified E30 airbox to boot.

Car passed SMOG with flying colors...

    TECH: Is this a 2.8?

ME: No it's a 3.2, we replaced it

TECH: Cool, this car is tight is it a racecar?

    ME: Sort of

    No BAR sticker

Some goodies from Rogue and Lamin-X protected yellow Hella's. We're replacing all the P/S lines as they are leaking.

Roguen Engineering shifter is in and it is SMOOTH as silk, just what I've come to expect from Rogue Engineering. Next up a custom SS exhaust...

Thanks kalib0y, right now I'm just wringing out issues with the chassis stuff. We replaced the power steering pump and all the lines. Little nitpicky things that I am not happy with as I hate oil leaks of any type.

I turned my attention to the gauges which are now complete. The next electrical project will be the speakers and a remote entry system.

The engine is brilliant though. I am going to install a Miller WAR chip and use one of the tune positions for straight 91 octane fuel, sort of a bailout tune if I'm stuck somewhere without access to race fuel. I've got a 55gal drum of 110 at the shop now..

Sooo I figured out that the Schroth harness's left over from my E46 will fit perfectly...

And it's Dr Vanos time... my old vanos sounded like a can of marbles...

The new dash had no insulation like the old one.. I'm moving everything over with some srpray adhesive. I am also installing new wiring harness looms since the old ones were brittle and are now broken

    New dash with no insulation

    Old dash with insulation

Epoxied new zip tie harness mounts

    Completed

Now everything works and the area below the center vents isn't bent up and cracked anymore. I ran the heater and no more sauna so that's nice..

    Nice bright shiny OBC

No worries we'll make a trade.. unfortunately I've fixed all my lights but I'll hang onto them for the future.

Nothing special the last few days just a little electrical, troubleshooting etc. I installed a remote lock/unlock system with the old school period correct remote. Monday it's going in to Specialty Products Design here in Rancho to have a 3 section exhaust made. All mandrell bent tig welded stainless with a cat section using a Rogue Engineering Diablo muffler rear section tied together with v-bands.
