How os it you got a 245 on an 8" wheel and it doesn't look like a balloon?
I have 235/40/17 nto5 on my 8.5" and they are square.
Ahhhhhhhh right.
Yeah, Just inside the wheel well area. I'm rubbing the liner attached to the front bumper. Thinking I may need to put the stock control arms back on and let it rub the rear. Just seems like a safer spot to rub.
My bad guys...they are 8.5" wide. I think the key to these is the sidewall being 35. The overall diameter of these tires is smaller than a 235/49-17 by a fair bit.
Ok I'll snap some shots of the inside of the fenders today when I get home.

That's what happend to me when installed the 97 + control arms for a short period before installing them back in my e30 turbo. It stopped rubbing in the back and started to slight rub in the front, but a lot less than the back (in the side skirt edge is rubbing actually). I will have to heat/mold the front fender liner that join with the screening plastic thing that goes in front of the oil pan and see if that cure the slight rub in the front.

There is a lot of rubbing going on in this thread...![]()
This is what is left (left side) now that I installed the 97 + control arms. No more rub in the back, but now in the front, technically speaking of the fender liner end.
Notice that the tires even touched the fender edge (arch), not just the side skirt edge. This should happen every time I'm parking my car in my appartment. A little ramp going to down and full left turn in the flat gorund (when the ramp angled ends) to access to the parking lot is needed, perhaps thats' the source of the problem.
