Have a resonator installed.

That's interesting. If one of the quietest aftermarket combos is too loud for your taste, then the answer would then have to be a Factory mid pipe and your Stromung, a Supersprint, or a factory tail box.
I'm not a fan of loud exhausts. I'm familiar with your exhaust combo on an s14 engine, and I'm familiar with the VSR/Supersprint combo on an S14 and an S52 engine(the latter 2 on my Chassis). They are slightly aggressive but not loud to my taste.
On the S14, the two combos sound close, with the Stromung being slightly more aggressive.
Perhaps you have a leak?

I have a Stromung and stock center section. Its a bit loud but I might have a leak and some rattles on the cat heat sheilds. Was thinking about the VSR center section.
Sell you Stroumung to me and buy a Borla! hehehe!

I have the CATs cut our and replaced with magnaflow mufflers. I think mine is too quiet.
Maybe we should trade, lol.
I'm thinking the resonator option might work, any suggestions on how to install one? The muffler guys aren't the sharpest tools in the shed. Photos would be appreciated.
Previous owner of my car had a resonator installed.

anyone run the non cat version of the vsr pipe (in ny only need to pass the safety test now) mated to a stock box? maybe get the both of best worlds and even pick up 5 ponies from the cat delete.
The resonator goes before the cat and only on one pipe, not both?
looks like its a 2 in 2 out ressonator...
It's after the cats and it's 2 in 2 out as mentioned.

Are all resonators alike, or is there a particular model that would work best? How mush difference am I going to notice, I hate to go through all this, and not make a dent? I know it might be hard to describe, but I appreciate the help.
Honestly I'd have to look through my three ring binder on history. Try and find it tonight. With nothing to compare it too besides my OEM to a B&B on my other car. It's a lot quieter than any B&B I have owned.
