For the front fitment, with lowered Eibach springs and 4 fenders rolled, what would be the widest/highest tire that can fit? Or maybe a 235/40/17 would fit w/o rub issues?

235 /40 might Rub, How ever, I am running 235/40 with E34 M5 17 x 8 ET 20mm and they rub inside fender lining only on full turn,

You'll rub on full lock - I'm on a similar set up, but with H&R Race.

215/40 fits w/o any issues but is stretched if you want that look and are low enough to pull it off. Some narrower fitting 235/40 will fit with minor rubbing inside the fender, others will be all kinds of rub.

Great setup! Great price for a wheel that is slowly becoming less and less available. I've got a 215-40 setup on my 8.5s up front and 235s on my 9.5s out back if anyone needs reference photos!

they were 235/40-17 Falken Azenis 415, they were rubbing in the back, had to roll the rear fenders quite a bit, front as well, also rubs on full lock...when you ready to buy I'll give you my friends contact info so you can deal with him directly...
