245/35/17 tires on 17x8.5 wheels

Thanks for the reply, buddy. Are you running a stock suspension or some other combo?

I am running H&R race springs and bilstein sport shocks. I have the same tires on another M3, Ground Control, great street setup...

235/40 17s fit just fine on my setup. Some rubbing at full lock but otherwise no issues.

I have had this setup too with very little issues; some minor rubbing at full lock. If the suspension isn't tight and the fenders aren't rolled you might get fender bite.
Now I'm running 215/40/17 fronts and 235/40/17 rear low and tight suspension. The 215's are worry free, drive like normal.
