FS: Nice set of 4 E31 Style 8s - 16x7.5 ET15 –
Hi. I have a set of E31 style 8 wheels for sale. Four years ago, I purchased the wheels from a guy in Tucson who had a '94 840Ci he bought new. He had just bought a brand new set of M-parallels from the dealer and these were no longer needed. The car had 40,000 miles. The wheels came with a nice set of AVS-Intermediates in 235/50. I used the tires up on my E34 touring after purchasing it. I had nothing they would fit before and it was a shame to take them off. Anyway, once that was done, I mounted up the star-specs and autocrossed with them. The tires are down to just under 3/32s, and they have some runs left for sure, but they're too big for an M3.
The finish on the wheels is very nice. There are some marks from cones and such, but they should clean up easily. I'll wash them before shipping and will more than likely try to polish those out. No rash. Just a couple of errant marks from tire store morons. No gouges or rash
Anyway, they were on my 535is in a hail storm. Two of the caps were damaged. I replaced one. The other has a small hole in it. Every other cap I found had poor paint, so I decided to live with the hole. Just being autocrossing wheels, I never used the caps.
