I can't find this size anywhere. Anyone got any? I'm looking for 5 but will take whatever you got. I'm in CA.

Do you like the Falken 452's? If so, I have 2 new sets coming in this week. I can part with a set, let me know.

Just bought Toyo R1R tires from STS tire in this size. It's a 140 treadwear tire so it sticks like glue. They were about 170 a pop on the car.

I think we should do a group buy with Coker Tire (or any vintage repro tire manufacturer) if they would reproduce a great original style Michelin or Pirelli in the 225/45/16 size for those of us with EVO 16" , E28 M5 wheels, or other stock 16" E30 M3 size wheels. That would be great! Makes absolutely no sense to me why that tire size is impossible find!

    Definitely.

Or how about a 235-width 17" tire with the same sidewall height as a 215/40/17. Like a 235/35/17, I guess..?

Heads up, tirecrawler.com has them cheaper... and you are right, they do stick like glue!

    - Tire is the other control arm bushing.

    Import from somewhere else...

in Europe I can simply order 9 different makes/types...

personally I like the Kumho Ecsta SPT KU31 as a road tire (slightly below 100 Euro each)
