I'm testing the new design w/ the air diverter at the track this weekend versus the old design pictured in the previous posts. I will measure temp to see if there's any significant difference. There should be, in theory but we'll see. Stay tuned for the results.

Any more development on these. I have some backing plates on my shopping list... and these would fit the bill !!

Here are pics of the new version w/ the air diverter panel. this was the first prototype that we made quick and dirty in time for testing so pay no attention to the flaws in the carbon weave on the inside.
I tested the original piece against this one w/ the diverter panel and saw a difference of about 5 degrees on the rotor surface between the two design so I guess that extra flap did help. I'll keep you posted on this once the production models are ready.
