Gr.A E30 M3 at Spa-Francorchamps

Just thought I'd grace you all with this video of a Group-A E30 M3 running at Spa-Francorchamps. The driver is the Belgian Marc Duez. In his younger days, Duez drove for the Prodrive works rally team and the Schnitzer DTM team among others. It's safe to say he knows his way around an E30 M3. This footage was taken during the 2009 Youngtimer Trophy.

Great footage...I'm glad he had the opportunity at least once on camera to nail "La Rouge" with his foot buried "without" slower traffic in front of him. That has to be a real gas! :-)

Awesome...driving. You can clearly see the Porsche has more hp. He catches up in braking and cornering. It's always satisfying to chase down cars with more hp.

He shows a bit of a "take no prisoners" attitude...but he is really fast and has excellent car control.
Spa is actually more difficult to drive than it looks, as example the long downhill passage is mostly off camber including that long lefthander which is awfully fast...

I loved the white E30 M3 that clearly had more power, that he overhauled (as well as every other car in the field haha).

This is an awesome track. it always amazes me that people move into an area with something like this or an airport, that has clearly been there for many many years, then complain about the noise and want to shut it down.
